About Me
I am 48 year old female, currently work full time as an administrator, looking to set up my own childminding business and am currently studying several related childminding courses but have several years' experience and am already qualified to level 2 in Child Play, Learning & Development. I am now studying Cache Level 3, Advanced Phonics, SEN, Understanding Autism and two required childminding courses, needed to set up a childminding business in the near future. I have two grown up children and 2 grandchildren under 5, and numerous nieces and nephews so have lots of varied experience and an interest in child play, development and education.
My house is currently just about set up for starting my childminding business so complete with safety gates etc. I have a playroom complete with all sorts of toys, equipment, books, craft activities etc and an enclosed garden with children's play house, trampoline, swings, slide and various ride on toys.
I am available to care for children 0-12 years, and older if necessary. I am able to take single children or sibling groups and will offer discount for sibling groups. My hours of work are 07:00 - 19:00 Saturday and Sunday but am open to discussion should your working hours be outside of these times so can therefore be flexible if needed. Snacks and meals can be provided.
I am currently available to care for children in my own home on weekend days as I figure there must be plenty of working parents who struggle to get affordable, reliable and trustworthy local child care at weekends.
I am DBS checked and can provide references. I welcome enquiries and visits to my home with no obligation.

My Experience
In the past I have run 3 parent & toddler groups, worked as a creche worker and have volunteered in a primary school whilst I was studying for a degree in teaching & learning support. I have had lots of personal experience too as I have two grown up children of my own, 2 grandchildren under 5 and nieces and nephews.

My Availability
I am currently available Saturdays and Sundays from 07:00 - 19:00 for whole days, half days or a few hours, to suit your requirements. I can also be available outside of these hours if your working day extends outside at either side.
