My Summary

My Experience

I have almost 14 years experience in looking after children aged 3-12. Duties included picking children up from school, talking to teachers on behalf of parents when parents were not available, preparing meals, entertaining, helping to get the children to and picking them up from after school classes (extracurricular), helping with homework, cleaning up, looking after safety and wellbeing of the children and making sure they went to bed on time. I have an up to date DBS certificate.

My Qualifications

I do not have any childcare qualifications, however, I have extensive freelance experience. I also have a level 2 certificate as a teaching assistant and I am currently gaining experience as an after school play supervisor for kids aged 4-1, where I help to supervise classes of up to 30 children and supervise an after school art activity group of around 10 children by myself. I could help with homework and teach the children (particularly if it is to do with language and literature). I have a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature and an MA in Creative Writing. I also have good analytical and practical skills and could therefore help the children with subjects such as Maths and the Sciences.

My Availability

I am available mornings, early day time (until 2pm) and weekends. I have recently started work as an after school play supervisor therefore I can only work until 2pm on most weekdays.

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
