About Me

I have 2 children at school, both girls, and our new baby boy, born in august, at home. I have been a registered childminder for over 4 years now. Myself and my partner are both ofsted approved. We have a Springer Spaniel and she is very friendly and fully vaccinated . Our car has business insurance so that I can carry minded children. I have a very homely approach to childminding, believing children learn best when they don't think they are learning. We get lots of outdoor experiences and learn through exploration in a risk assessed, safe environment. I also enjoy getting the children involved in messy play activities such as finger painting, water and sand, making our own play doe and various texture exploration games in which the children get to put their hands in bowls of dry, wet or sticky stuff like custard or rice. I have a vast collection of play resources available to the children, including :
dressing up, puzzles, games, blocks, small world, dolls, dinosaurs, cars, baby toys.
Outdoor play equipment in our large garden;
ride on toys , balls, sandpit, water play, ball pool and more.
