About Me
I am a 21 year old qualified teacher from Gloucestershire. I am currently working in a preschool in Cheltenham caring, guiding and supporting young children during their early years education. I specialise in English and Art therefore I am a very creative individual. I have also completed my QTS specialising in the early years 3-7 and am confident in the teaching of phonics and range of programmes in schools. I understand every child has their own individual needs and aim to adapt my childcare to the needs of your child. I love reading and being creative whether that be through drawing, painting, singing.
My Experience
From completing my QTS, I have gained experience supporting children with their learning, managing difficult behaviour and teaching a class of 30 at a variety of challenging schools in Gloucestershire. I currently work in a preschool assisting children in play, preparing meals, helping them with toilets/potty, ensuring they are clean, providing comfort, reading stories and singing songs. I incorporate learning into play by playing games, providing activities and singing songs that give children access to numbers, letters, colours etc.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified primary school teacher (University of Gloucestershire) with specialist subjects in Art and English, I have 3 A Levels in English, Biology and Psychology. DBS checked. Early childcare and primary school experience.
My Availability
I have finished university for the summer so am available anytime of the week, I work as bank staff at the nursery so I just have to tell them when i’m available around this.
