About Me

I like to think of myself as a calm, thoughtful and generally cheerful person who encourages the wellbeing of those in my care. In addition to the usual tasks expected of me - such as school pick up, meal preparation and homework supervision - I tend to focus my attention on activities around arts and crafts, trips to the park/library and on helping children develop healthy coping mechanisms and life skills.

My Experience

Please note that I'm not currently a driver. I have been a care giver, off and on, for the last 15 years. I've had a maximum of 6 children under my care, ranging from ages 2 - 13 years. Although, my most recent experience has been in nursery dealing with 28 - 36 months old children.

My Qualifications

I have studied child development and developmental psychology. I have been through basic au pair training which included First Aid and am familiar with EYFS.
