Hello families! My name is Erin; I am 23 years old from Ireland and I offer quality childcare services.
I absolutely love children and have always had a passion for helping and caring for them. I am the eldest of 5 daughters and I have learned many skills in this role, especially from the youngest two who are 6 and 4.
I enjoy partaking in creative activities with children such as cooking, face painting, arts and crafts, and puzzles. I am also experienced in supervising with homework.
I pride myself in being a very organised, trustworthy, responsible and reliable Nanny. I am a fun, bubbly and adventurous person. In my spare time I like to play the guitar, cook, spend time outdoors walking, running and hiking, and travelling.
I would love to help a family in need of a reliable Nanny. I am planning on moving to London in mid October and I will be available to start immediately.
My Experience
I have 10 years experience in babysitting. I possess extensive experience caring for newborns, toddlers and school aged children.
At the moment, I am a full time Nanny for 2 different families. I look after 5 children in total that range from 2 to 9 years old. I have been in this position for a full year.
I have an Honours degree in Social Care Practice. In university I carried out two intense 13-week placements; one with disabled children, and the other with children with challenging behaviours in a youth setting.
From working in both of these settings, I feel that I am equipped in handling any difficult situation I come into contact with, with composure and calmness.
In addition to this, I have private references from wonderful families and organisations available upon request.
My Qualifications
• I am Garda Vetted (Irish equivalent to DBS check - currently undergoing a DBS check at the minute)
• Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours) in Social Care Practice
• Volunteer for a disability organisation called the ‘Foyle Sailability’
• Full drivers license
• ASIST: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
My Availability
I am looking for a minimum of 40 hours work preferably Monday-Friday. Happy to do the odd night/weekend to let parents have quality time together.
