Hi Im Freya! Im currently studying Contemporary Media Cultures at University of Arts London. I live in Blackheath and I'm looking to do some childcare while studying. Im organised, reliable and dependable.
I am an enthusiastic and energetic person with a warm and friendly approach. I’m quick to learn, adaptable and am able to be flexible in the work I take on and carry out.
My long term aim is to work in the Media Industry. While I strive to achieve this goal I want to work with a broad range of people and travel the world so I can develop my understanding of each individual.
From March 2022 I have been travelling all over the world. I’ve visited New York, Morocco, Thailand, Cambodia, Lisbon, Sicily, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia and the Philippines and I lived in Australia. This has been a truly enlightening and educational experience and took hard work to be able to afford the privilege of travel. I’m now settled in London while doing a degree and Contemporary Media Cultures at London College Of Communication and I’m looking for work that I can put my energy into.
My Experience
I grew up in a small town in the South West of England where I was quickly trusted to be a local babysitter. From the age of 13 I helped out with local families. Now at the age of 20 ive had lots of experience with children. I found that I really enjoyed this so thought after more work. Quickly my number got spread around as parents trusted me and their children loved hanging out with me. This developed into me being a Nanny for an 11 year old girl with Down Syndrome. She taught me patience and more Emotional intelligence. Ive looked after children ranging from ages of 9 months to 13 years old. When I'm visiting home I make sure to see the families I'm still in touch with as I've built long lasting relationships with them. I want to make sure Parents know that their children are safe and that there well being is taken care of while the children's minds are expanding through fun and creative play!

September 2018- December 2019 : Shop Assistant at Jazzkids, a children's store in Totnes
Working in customer service improves my social skills. While working in a cafe I learnt the importance of teamwork and problem solving.
In all off my jobs i've had to be reliable and dependable which is something I pride myself on.
My Qualifications
I previously studied at Kennicott College where I received an A and two Distinction stars in Sociology and Media. I have 9 GCSE’s that include Maths and English.
I’m currently studying at University Of The Arts London. I’ll go on to get a degree in Contemporary Media Cultures.
My Availability
Im in University Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays but only part time so could look at school pick ups, drop offs, and evening care for those days. Then I have Tuesdays and Thursdays and the weekend days and evenings free so can look at doing more care then!
