About Me

My name is Petra. I am an Ofsted registered childminder (Rating Good) based in Mill Hill,NW7,London,providing High quality childcare for children in a safe,happy and nurturing environment.
I live with my husband,he is a 11+Maths tutor and also my assistant. We are both DBS checked and insured.
We live in a 4 bedrooms house with a large garden near Bittacy Park where the children also play and have fun almost every day.
We are happy to say that last year we’ve been given a plot at the allotment based 2 minutes from our house where children can learn about fruits and vegetables and have the opportunity to plant their own favourite vegetable. We had carrots,cucumbers,green beans,peas,potatoes,onions and made lots of healthy meals using our own grown vegetables,what a perfect way to encourage healthy eating!
We are always outdoors,we are always covered in mud and grass,no matter how the weather is like. There is always something to do out there,like frogs hunt or insects hunt,picking up materials for our arts and crafts ...
Every-visit is planed carefully in advanced for safety,even though we can’t eliminate every single hazard.
Our goals are to have a good time,have fun and learn while we play.
I offer the 15 hours free early years education.
Children have individual Early Years Foundation Stage profile, that allows for planning their individual learning goals. Parents will receive regular updates in their observation books and get the opportunity to take the books home to look at the activities that their child has done and their next steps.
I believe a good communication with parents is very important.
WhatsApp proved to be a very practical and beneficial way to communicate with parents.
