About Me
I am a fun, enthusiastic, mature women who has worked with kids for the past 2 years and absolutely loved it! I am currently awaiting the start of my job back at PGL which is a residential camp for kids aged 7-17, I worked there for the majority of 2021 and recently reapplied due to loving the job and working with children so much! I have 2 younger cousins myself who I adore being in the company of yet do not get to see them often due to them living far away, which is why I would love to create this relationship with likeminded children. Furthermore I have been DBS checked and hold a full driver’s license in the United Kingdom. I also have experience working with children from my previous job at Claire’s Accessories where I came into contact with children at least 50 times a day! Finally I am double vaccinated and I have studied in higher education to receive 3 A levels in English, Business and Psychology.
My Experience
I worked at PGL Travel with unaccompanied children from the ages of 7-17 for the majority of 2021, this included supervision for 7am until 10pm at night, alongside medical and dietary needs being met daily. I was their group leader which meant I was a supervisor as well as a fun supplier and I received many cards of achievement from parents to indicate this professional behaviour. I have also volunteered at netball camps where I would umpire children’s matches from the ages of 4-16. Here I would deal with disagreements between children alongside team work and character building between the teams.
My Qualifications
I hold qualifications in childcare which are internal qualifications to PGL such as being group leader and individual supervision trained. However have not received any external qualifications.
