About Me
Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m 54 and currently live in Hertford. I have a 23 year old son and I have worked with children throughout my working life and I’m a teaching assistant at present. I consider myself to be patient, caring and fun. I enjoy cooking and gardening in my spare time and my family is very important to me. I would very much like to find a family who needs a baby sitter in the evenings, weekends and support throughout the school holidays.
My Experience
I’ve started my 8th year as a teaching assistant at a SEMH school (Social, Emotional, Mental Health School). I specialise in 1-1 and small group interventions to help children with learning difficulties and mental health issues, aiming to build their skills, confidence and self-esteem. This can include cooking, reading, phonics and pet therapy. I’ve previously worked full time as a nanny and have had baby sitting jobs throughout the years. As I have the school holidays off, it would be great to find a local family who needs a nanny during this time.

My Availability
I have availability throughout the week, I can babysit 1 or 2 nights a week past 6pm. I am flexible on Saturdays to babysit during the day or evening. My availability can be discussed and I’m happy to work out what’s best for a family and myself.
