About Me
I have been baby sitting for just over five years now. I have experienced baby sitting children aged newborn to twelve years old. I am comfortable around all kinds of pets as I have two dogs of my own. I enjoy doing crafts, colouring and activities that include learning with the children. I am able to help with homework and comfortable with children of any age. I am also able to work flexible hours and I am available to work last minute emergency’s.
My Experience
I have lots of valuable experience when working with children aged 0-12. I have eight years worth of experience working in private nursery’s and primary schools. I currently work in a private nursery in the two year old room as a qualified nursery nurse. I am a key carer for a group of children, including some with special educational needs.
I have worked in two primary schools as a teaching assistant and completed a two year long placement in a school setting,
My Qualifications
I hold a BA Honours Degree in Early childhood studies. I graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2021 with a second class (first division) honours degree.
I am currently studying a Masters degree in Education and Leadership at Northumbria University. I started this in October 2022 and will graduate in July 2024.
I also hold an A-level in childcare which was completed June 2018 at The Northumberland Church of England Academy
