About Me
I am currently a fully qualified teacher with 9 years of teaching experience. In my school, I am part of SLT and lead maths and assessment across the school. I am deputy maths lead across our 5 school academy. I also have an English language and linguistics BA degree which I completed in 2013. I have taught year 6 many times and therefore have extensive knowledge of the ks2 curriculum.
My Experience
I have 9 years worth of teaching experience. As maths and assessment lead, I deliver on-going CPD to other teachers. This ranges from using our assessment systems to monitor progress and identify gaps in learning to introducing new initiatives for teaching and learning in mathematics. I am also an ECT mentor, meaning I train teachers who are new to the profession. Having been based in yr 6 for the majority of my teaching years, I have taught small tuition groups after school hours most weeks of my career with a proven record of progress. I have also done some private tutoring too.

My Availability
I am reducing my working hours in the near future (after Easter) and have therefore chosen to devote more time to tutoring. My schedule will become mote flexible at this point.
