About Me
Hello!
I'm an enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated Primary school teacher currently teaching Year 5 for the forth year in a row at a local school. I have a passion for Maths, English and Reading. I am a qualified and experienced Primary teacher who believes learning should be a hands on and enjoyable experience for all ages. I have experience working with children with special needs and also children for which English is not their first language.
I believe learning is about confidence and self-belief, and if I can make a difference to the way children feel about learning, it’s a great feeling and very rewarding to me! Not all learners are the same and everyone learns at a different rates and in different ways. I therefore like to try new approaches to cater to each child and work at a pace to suit them rather than pushing them to try and learn things which they’re not ready for. Leaning in smaller steps means children build their confidence and are more likely to retain it. Learning should be made fun so I always try to take the child`s interests and incorporate them into their learning to make it relatable. I love teaching and enjoy working with children of all ages.

I have 4 years worth of experience teaching Year 5 in schools. I have helped many children through their SATS this year and also younger children with phonics and reading who were behind.
