As a nursery teacher I have to ensure that preschool room are run effectively through planning, preparation and organization.
I also have to monitor children for the identification of possible special needs and discussed any concerns with the nursery’s nominated SENCO.
One of my main duties is to work efficiently in the capacity of key person and key worker and to work in accordance to the Policies and Procedures at nursery.

As a nursery practitioner one of my duties is to be fully up to date with requirement of “Early Years Foundation Stage and ensure that St Michael’s nurseries meets and aims to exceed the requirements. I’ m also responsible for maintaining all health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
I’ m proactive in the process of activity planning, child observation and maintaining development records up to date on a regular basis.
One of my main responsibilities is to be an effective key person to those children assigned to me and to take on other assigned tasks, as requested and advised by my manager.

My main responsibility was to work effectively as part of the Nursery team, providing physical, emotional and spiritual care to children, maintaining the environment in a child friendly manner, ensuring that the children in my care remain safe, happy and stimulated. I also helped children to acquire self-help skills, including dressing, feeding, toilet training and an awareness of personal hygiene, supervising mealtimes and children in playground.

2009 September- 2014 October Nanny
Picking up children from school, taking them to after school activities, ice skating, swimming, park etc. and preparing healthy meals. I supervised their homework and further developed their reading skills.
