My name is Alina, I am from Germany and currently studying history at the University of Aberdeen. This is my fourth year living in the UK and I also spent 5 months in the US a couple of years back, so my English is more than sufficient. In my free time I enjoy playing rugby, reading and singing.
My Experience
I have done some babysitting (ages 2-11) and summer camp supervision (ages 5-12) during my teenage years. For a year between school and university I worked as an au pair in England and looked after three boys (ages 3-7). There, I would usually do school drop-offs and pick-ups, spent the afternoon with them and cook dinner. Due to Covid19 I also have some experience in home schooling, as the boys were not able to go to school for about three months.
My Qualifications
I do not have any official childcare certifications, but I could possibly obtain a reference from my old host family.
My Availability
Due to university, I unfortunately have some weird timings:
Mon 7.30am-4pm, after 8pm
Tue after 1pm
Wed 7.30am-1pm
Thu all day
Fri 1pm-6pm
Sat/Sun all day
