About Me
I have a varied educational background, having worked in the state and private sector with children aged 8-18. I have taught English and Maths. My most recent role was as Head of English in a Cambridge prep school. I have extensive experience as a private tutor, working with students face to face and/or remotely.
My Experience
I have prepared pupils for 11+and 13+ exams, as well as Common Entrance and Academic scholarship (including Eton and Winchester). I have worked with many families who are looking at private school options at the end of Year 6 or Year 8. It is a broad market and each school has different entry requirements. I can help your child build confidence before taking their entry exams, as well as preparing them for an interview.
I have supported many pupils with KS2 English and Maths (including SATs preparation). This can be a demanding time as pupils are in their last year of primary school. Some just need a helping hand to reach their potential before moving on to secondary school. I would be happy to help them on this journey.
