My Experience

I have been working In Marsham Street Community nursery for over 15 years. I am based in the baby room, working with children from 3 months old up to 2 years old. I am a key worker which means I am in charge of monitoring a group of individual children's progress and writing down observations on their development. I then have meetings with parents to discuss their child's development and what we are doing and what we can do to ensure they reach their milestones. My other roles at the nursery include making bottles, changing nappies, helping serve lunches, planning daily activities for the children and taking the children out on day trips in groups with other staff. I also have personal experience with looking after children as I have 3 children of my own, 2 girls that are in their twenties and one 15 year old son. I also have a 2 and a half year old grandson who I look after often and take to playgroups.

My Qualifications

I have a Btec level 3 qualification working in childcare as well as a level 2 qualification in makaton training. I have a DBS and a peadiatric first aid certificate.

My Availability

I am currently still working at Marsham Street Community nursery but i should be available to start nannying from the end of April. I am looking for a full time nanny job, from around 8am until 6 pm. I am also looking for somewhere quite near to where I live which is around Pimlico.
