Hello! I'm Caitlin. I am a friendly, nurturing individual who's passion is caring and educating children. Through my years working in childcare I have grown a love for supporting and working alongside children and families to ensure they are provided with the best start in life possible. Keeping children safe, healthy, nurtured and respected is paramount to me and my practice.
I'm a very creative person, always seeking out new activities and opportunities to learn and have fun both in my personal and work life.
I am currently an EYP working with preschool children, however I have experience working with 0years+.
My Experience
In 2015 I worked in an after school club, looking after children aged 5 - 11. This job created opportunities with a variety of age group supporting and encouraging them with their daily needs. I also worked with families, being an informal support network but still representing the club.
In 2017 I started my career in Early Years at a private nursery. I completed my SVQ in Social Services (children and young people) SCQF Level 7. During my time here I worked with babies, toddlers and preschool. I also helped lead rooms and develop the setting to be at the best standard possible.
Then in 2020 I moved to my a job in a school nursery. Working with children aged 3 and up. preparing them for the transition for school.
In 2022 I moved to my current job in an Early Years Centre.
