About Me
I’m a mum of 3 kids, 15, 13 and 11. I qualified as a midwife 20 years ago, so have lots of experience with newborns, but haven’t practised since having my own kids. I volunteered with Home Start for 1.5 years before the pandemic hit, helping a mum with a 3 year old and 1 year old twins, and also helped out in Home Start crèches. I’m available to help out part time or on an ad hoc basis as I’m not wanting to go back to work full time til my son is at high school.

My Experience
I have experience bringing up my own children and taking them to mothers and toddler groups. I worked as a pupil support worker in a school for a year (maternity cover) and worked as a classroom assistant in Harmeny school for 1.5 years before stopping work to bring up my own children. I have a lot of experience with newborn babies through my midwifery training. I volunteered with Homestart looking after a 3 year old and 1 year old twins, and also worked in their crèche. I currently babysit a 10 month old two mornings a week.
