About Me
I am currently working full-time at a nursery looking after 0–4-year-olds. But am situated in a baby room which is 0-2 years. I am most fulfilled when I am engaged in the care and nurturing of young children and whilst happy as a member of the nursery team, I am eagerly seeking a role which allows me to focus on the care and development of specific children.
One of the significant benefits of working in a nursery is assessing the structure and programmes they utilise, some of which I would adapt to the age of the children I care for. I believe I have a flair for childcare, I thoroughly enjoy it and this appears to get a positive response from all who meet me. I have undertaken a considerable amount of childcare from senior school onwards. I have lots of nieces and nephews and cousins all of whom I am comfortable and confident looking after. I have several regular babysitting jobs and I have assisted at Sunday school whilst at secondary school. I enjoy fitness and sport and have assisted coaching at school and at my hockey club. Through my personal development and university course I have seen how important nutrition is and I am an enthusiastic cook who loves to eat healthy food. I enjoyed a mixture of activities from sport to music and dance but there is always time for homework and reading.
My Experience
I have been babysitting for 5 years now. I have also worked for a agency looking after young children in nursery’s around MIlton Keynes. I have worked in a particular nursery in Milton Keynes for nearly a year now. Specifically with under 2s but experienced with all ages.
My Qualifications
A- levels in Health and social care, Psychology and Biology.
2 years at Nottingham Trent university studying Sports science.
First aid trained
Fire safety trained
