About Me
Hello, my name is Emma, I am an experienced au pair, having spent over three years in the role in Paris. I have looked after and tutored numerous children, particularly with a focus on furthering and refining their English skills and fulfilling their daily routines.
I am an extremely easy going person, kind natured and always endeavoring to be of help. I am sensible, reliable, and dependable, but also fun and positive. I have a naturally warm and gentle personality and a natural instinct for working with children.
I like to be cheerful and pragmatic about things in life, to always make a success of situations, and to ensure the people around me are always happy and content. I am also very friendly and conversational, and am always told that I make people feel at ease.
I can usually be found wandering around a museum or exhibition, reading, writing or walking, usually enjoying the architecture of my surroundings.
My Experience
As an experienced au pair, I am very familiar with the routines and dynamics of looking after children. I am reliable sensible, and can be trusted to look after children with little guidance or instruction, which has always been valued by the parents I have worked with.
I am highly familiar with such duties as school collection, park/playtime, preparing nutritious dinners, bath-time, homework help, bed-time reading and babysitting.
I find child development extremely important and find it immensely rewarding to be involved in the development of a child's education, whether this be academically, instilling good manners or simply inspiring their curiosity. I love art and architectural history very deeply, so I am especially enthusiastic about discussing cultural subjects with children. It would be my pleasure for example to take them on visits to museums and places of historic interest.

My Qualifications
I have been educated entirely in London, at Catholic schools, such as the Cardinal Vaughan in Holland Park. I also undertook a BA at the Courtauld Institute of Art, in Art History and a MSt in Building History at Cambridge University.
