About Me
Currently i work in a day nursery in Stevenage as a room leader in a room for children aged 0-2 . I also have experience in other settings, including as a nanny, with children aged newborn to 10. I have previously worked in other nursery and school placements and settings. I am level 3 qualified and am currently looking to start my level 5. I have a level 1 qualification in British Sign language. I have new born experience and experience with special needs children.
My Experience
I moved from Stevenage to Northampton to become a live in nanny to 3 children when i was 18. The family were from Italy and i left them after 8 months as they were returning to Italy and Europe.
I then went to work in a day nursery for 5 years in March 2013. I was room leader for 18-24 month old children but have had experience in this job with children from 18 months - 4 years. I left that setting as I went on maternity leave to have my own little boy.
Prior to this i have also worked in different nurserys, a playgroup, and as a nanny.
I now am currently working as a room leader in a day nursery With children aged 0-2.
My Qualifications
I hold a full pediatric first aid certificate valid for the next 3 years (November 2016)
I have a fire safety and food hygiene certficate.
I am willing to become ofsted registered
I currently hold a full CRB check.
Extensive and upto date knowledge of the EYFS.
I have a safe guarding qualifiation and i am level one qualified in BSL (British Sign Language)
I also hold a level 3 qualification in Childcare.
Other certificates for qualifiations are avalible to be looked at.
