Hi, i’m Chelsea. I am a confident, easygoing and reliable person who is motivated to give 100% to everything that I do. I enjoy being creative and spontaneous which has always helped me with keeping children entertained and happy in my care. I am a very caring individual and will always ensure to practice patience and understanding with your child(ren). I have worked with children of various ages.
I knew from a young age that childcare was an area that I wanted to work in and since doing so it has taught me lots about myself and the important role that childcare professionals play in children’s early lives.
My Experience
I have done evening babysitting for multiple years. I enjoy facing challenges head on and believe my experience has allowed me to learn from other childcare professionals and recognise how unique each child is in all areas of their development.
I have worked in a private nursery for just over 3 years and in that time have been lucky enough to gain a wide range of knowledge about all the areas of the EYFS.
I have SEND experience and from working with other professionals such as speech and language therapists etc, I have gained more of an understanding of strategies and activities that can help all children with their development.
I have taken part in multiple courses including a course on the importance of storytelling for children with English as an additional language and communication and language courses.
I have helped children and parents with potty training and the best ways of allowing children to understand the importance of their health and self care to help grow them as an individual.
