I am 19 years old taking a gap year. I have an interest in working with children, with primary teaching as my goal career. I am currently working at Skyswood Primary School, where I am working on the playgrounds at lunchtimes with all ages, and in the Year2 classroom.
I have a drivers license since May 2023.
My Experience
I helped out in the Sunday School at Ridgeway Church, where I was fully DBS checked and worked with the ages of 3-6.
In 2019, I did a week of work experience at Busy Bees Nursery Marshalswick where I worked with the ages of 2-3.
Currently, I am working at Sksywood Primary School in St Albans with the primary school children at lunchtimes, and I am working in the classrooms and completing a Child Education course online.
I am off to Sheffield Hallam University from September 15th 2023.
My Qualifications
DBS checked.
I have 10 GCSEs and two A-Levels, Sociology and Politics.
In 2022-23, I am completing an Access Course on Education, before gaining a Primary Education QTS degree at University next year.
My Availability
After school and evening availability Monday-Thursday, with weekend and holiday cover potentially available.
Next year, I will be working in the classrooms Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, but not for full days.
