About Me
I believe that the wellbeing of the mother is of great importance and that she should be nurtured to allow her to succeed at being the best she can be.
I am a warm, kind and friendly person wanting to provide support to mothers and families, whether this is during pregnancy, birth, the postnatal period or beyond. I can offer you practical and emotional support, nurturing you through your journey in motherhood by providing information based on current evidence, to ensure you make choices based on what is right for you and your family. I want you to feel empowered, held and valued as a mother.
I am able to providing ad-hoc sessions to support you with caring for your baby. I am available for daytime, evenings and overnight sessions.

My Experience
I have 2 children of my own, an 8 year old daughter and 11 year old son. Being a mother has allowed me to grow as a person and although it is the most fulfilling role, it has also been challenging at times. I remember the difficulties I faced going into motherhood and how daunting and overwhelming it can feel at times.
I have worked as a nurse for the last 16 years, with my most recent experience being in general practice as a Nurse Practitioner. I have attended doula training with The BirthBliss Academy and continue to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
Within my work as a doula I have experience of caring for newborns and beyond.
