I’m a 23 year old student studying a MSc in Dietetics with a special interest in working in paediatrics. I am Irish and just recently moved to Edinburgh to study and loving it! In my spare time I enjoy cooking, baking, going for walks and listening to music.
My Experience
I have a lot of childcare experience from ages 2-12 from babysitting at weekends throughout my teenage years. I was responsible for putting entertaining 3 children (aged 2,6 and 10), feeding them and getting putting them to bed.
During my summers at university I also babysat on more of a full time basis, dropped and collected the children to summer camps and packed their bags for the subsequent day. During the summer days I entertained the children by playing in the garden with them, reading books, baking and dress-up. I really loved working with children and would love to get back to it.
My Qualifications
I have a BSc in Nutritional Sciences after studying in University College Cork for 4 years and have just began a MSc Dietetics at Queen Margaret University Edinburgh. I am HACCP trained and have passed suitable medicals to work in a healthcare setting.
My Availability
I am available all day Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. I am also available every evening after 6pm! I will also be flexible to start doing morning shifts and earlier evening shifts in the coming weeks once I have settled into my masters study routine.
