About Me
I am a childminder based in Orton Southgate, Peterborough. I live with my husband Stephen and my 3 beautiful children Joshua, Isabella and Megan- Lilly. We have a very chilled out cocker spaniel dog called Oscar.
I have a Childcare qualification, First aid training, Safeguarding training, Food hygiene training and currently studying for a Hygge in the early years accreditation.
I am DBS checked and registered with Rutland Early Years Agency.
I offer a home from home atmosphere where every child is welcomed and valued. We have a fun loving and happy environment where I can offer great learning opportunities for all ages. We have use of a playroom, a large sitting room, a craft and messy area, a special 'Book Nook' snug to get cosy in and a dedicated learning garden for the children to explore and play. We are lucky to be situated next to a large green space with a small park we make a lot of use of! I work in line with the EYFS guidance and with my current studying, have a forestry approach- creating warm, cosy environments to learn and play (Hygge).
My Experience
I have always had a career in care from dental nursing to palliative carer but caring for children is by far the best thing I have ever done and have a strong passion for it!
I have experience in all ages and have my own children and nieces/nephews ranging from 0-14 years old.
I have been a personal nanny for a family, caring for 4 young children in their home.
I have experience of special needs from my volunteering in schools and from caring for physically disabled children as well as needs such a autism and ADHD.
I also previously volunteered as a breast feeding peer supporter, supporting new mums and infants in the early days.

My Availability
I am open to discussion and can be flexible but my main hours are Mon- Fri 8am-5.30pm.
I can be available for some ad hoc weekend help and possible bank holidays by arrangement only.
I run a school holiday club and can do collection and drop off from St Botolph's Primary School and Orton Longueville Playgroup. (NPA Secondary if needed ).

My Fees
- Babysitting from £7.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
£5.50 per hour with snack and outings included.
After school club £12.50 including pick up and snack.
