About Me
I am local to Hereford and I live here with my partner and our son. I currently work at a school in a village towards Malvern for over ten years now and in my time here I have been a teaching assistant in all year groups.
I also cover the odd weekend shift at the Royal National College for the blind as a Residential Support Officer.
I am a very proud mother to my amazing son, who is graduated from university last year!
My hobbies/interests are: art (mainly drawing and some painting), playing darts, socialising, I love animals and having fun.
I have always loved working with children of all ages, I find it so rewarding.
I am a caring person, with a lot of patience.
My Experience
I have been a teaching assistant for just over 14 years and before this a short time in a nursery. During this time I have worked in all primary year groups and I am currently in year 6 in the mornings and reception class in the afternoons.
I have been on multiple residential trips, which involves being a mum to 30+ children for a week!
I have worked children with different levels of needs including autistic and ADHD.
I am trained Thrive practitioner too.
My role at the RNC for the blind, involves supporting students with inpaired vision and other issues to learn the skills to live independently.
My Qualifications
My qualifications are:
I am a fully trained Thrive Practitioner
NVQ in teaching and learning
NOCN in counselling skills at both foundation and intermediate level
I am DBS checked.

Times listed are term time, I would be available more during the school holidays.
I have put my rates are roughly £15 per hour, depending on the number of children and fuel costs, but this is flexible.
