I’m a student who’s taken a gap year from university in order to work! Although being a nanny/babysitter is considered a job, it’s something that I genuinely enjoy and have much experience in also - being around kids whether it’s playing, learning or even cooking is something I’m very passionate about!
My Experience
Job wise, I’ve babysat children within my neighbourhood who’s parents had needed extra hands of help due to work or weekend nights out. However, all throughout my childhood and even today, looking after my brother and cousins (who’s ages vary from newborn to 11 years old) have been part of my day to day life. I’m experienced in things such as cooking meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner, cleaning and maintaining round the house as well as helping with school/homework and reading. Due to having been surrounded by children my whole life, I’ve had to pick up these responsibilities from a young age, therefore looking after babies and children comes naturally to me.
My Qualifications
In terms of qualifications, I only have education qualifications which are my GCSE’s and A Level’s which I carried out at Sixth Form. I also have a DBS check.
