About Me
I am a qualified primary and EYFS teacher with over 15 years of experience currently working in schools across Sheffield. I am also mum to two primary school aged children.
I believe that children learn best when they are motivated and having fun! I use children's own interests to engage and inspire them and foster a love of learning.
I am currently offering 1:1 interactive story telling sessions for children in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2. The sessions include bespoke follow up activities, tailored specifically to your child's requirements.

My Experience
I have worded in a number of state schools in the UK and also at a prestigious international school in the South of Spain. I have a great deal of experience with children with varied SEND requirements and children with English as an additional language.
I have taught in nurseries and am very confident with phonics teaching and mathematical development from the early years upwards. This experience is invaluable in spotting gaps in children's learning and cementing basic skills before moving onto a higher level of challenge.
I have provided private tutoring and also qualified through the National Tutoring Programme which was established by the government as part of their post covid catch up programme. Additionally, I have successfully taught small groups of children online during the covid pandemic.
I currently work as a primary school teacher two days per week and run enrichment, after school and parent and toddler classes in nurseries, schools and private settings.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
£25 per hour for 1:1 tutoring. Should you require a longer session including childcare, this would be charged at an additional rate of £10 per hour.
