Hello, I’m Lucy
I am a 19 year old who is very passionate about helping children with their development and helping children achieve their goals.
I am qualified level 3 in childcare and education with being first aid paediatric trained.
I am a fun and outgoing person who loves to create new and different activities for children which helps their 7 areas of development and also for them to have fun and learn new and different things.
My Experience
I am currently working in a nursery in Marlow, I am working in the pre school room where I will create new activities for them and create more experiences for them with the example of running the room when the room leader isn’t in, running out forest school and running different activities which help with all of their areas of development. I have worked in every room that is in the nursery from ages 3 months to 4 years old.
Whilst I was studying my level 3, I have had two different placements one in a nursery and the other in an infant school. I feel very privileged that I was able to work within the SEN area and I have learnt so many new things from makaton and learning how different children learn and develop differently and I can’t wait to help all children learn and develop. Whilst working within the infant school I have taught children phonics, numbers and helped develop their 7 areas of development.
I have also, been babysitting for 4 years now with children from my work and my family friends.
