About Me
I am a recent Theology graduate from the University of Birmingham currently working as a teaching assistant. Helping others is something that comes naturally to me. Whether that be fulfilling a child's everyday needs or taking them on days out, my aim is always to keep them happy and safe.
My Experience
I have worked alongside children and young people throughout my educational career. Helping out with my younger sibling taught me a lot about responding to children's needs and it is something I genuinely enjoy. Throughout university I worked as a sports coach and mentor for young people 11-16 for a company called "Sport4Life". Alongside this, over the summer I was responsible for looking after 4 children aged 7-11 with one child needing additional support because they were vulnerable. These experiences have cumulatively allowed me to develop the necessary skills to be a great caregiver to children.
My Qualifications
Apart from my 2:1 in Theology and Religion I currently do not possess any official childcare qualifications aside from the DBS. However, I am willing to undergo any necessary training.
