Hello mummies, daddies, parents and carers. My name is Abbie. I absolutely love nature, baking and cooking. I am going to begin studying next year to become a midwife. I love learning, i believe everyday is an opportunity to learn something new. I am also a mum to my baby girl and we love to explore!
My Experience
I have worked in a special needs primary school as a 1:1 and 2:1 teaching assistant for the past three years. I attended an array of training sessions each Friday, and due to this as well as the every-day working with the children, I have extensive experience and knowledge of working with/caring for children with specialised needs. After my maternity leave ended, I decided to resign from that role so that I could continue to spend time with my daughter at home and then study to be a midwife September 23!
Aside from that key role, I have also been a nanny, a nursery worker, a play assistant, a tutor and a poolside assistant for baby swim classes.
I am very prompt, organised and inspired by life itself. I adore working and caring for children and seeing them flourish into little people with big personalities!
I am looking for quite a specific role, one in which i can bring my daughter along with me. She is 9 months old, and is extremely sociable, friendly and happy to meet new people and children. I have worked as a nanny to 2 very young children before, as well as caring for multiple children at a time in other roles, I am able to manage responsibilities and my time, with each child being a priority at any given time.
I am happy to care for children aged 6 months +, although i have professional experience from newborn, i believe it would work best this way.
I am first aid trained and have a DBS.
My fee will be £10 per hour due to the circumstance.
I have references on request.
My Qualifications
I have had multiple training sessions including first aid, bucket time training, attention autism training and many more. I also have a great personal interest in the montessori approach for children.
My Availability
I am available monday-friday, from 8am-4pm. Weekends i am available but my rates will be higher as i will not be bringing my child on weekends.

My Fees
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My fees for weekdays will be £10 ph due to my daughter attending along with me. Weekends range from £15ph
