About Me
I am a fun, energetic and outgoing nanny
with many years experience working with and around children of all ages. I hold an up to date DBS check, a first aid certificate and i have a full, clean driving license. I am very passionate about providing the best childcare possible while making sure the children feel happy, loved and safe in my care. I am currently living in Newcastle but willing to relocate for the right role. I love to travel and experience new ways of living so spreading my wings and working somewhere other than Newcastle would suit me nicely.
My Experience
Sole charge nanny (Part time) January 2021- present
I am 20 years of age and have been babysitting since i was 14 for family and friends. However i had not worked formally in a private household until last year when i became a nanny for a lovely family with three children aged between 3 and 14. This is a part time roll which i have loved working alongside my other job at the dentist. I bonded quickly with the children and i will be very sad to leave them but due to circumstances out of our control the family are no longer in need of a nanny. This role has been mostly sole charge of the two youngest children but i also work side by side mum over the weekends if my assistance is needed. My main duties include but are not limited to
. Light housekeeping
. picking children up from school and taking them to activities such as dance class, football training etc
. Preparing and cooking healthy but delicious meals
. Helping with homework
. Setting up educational and fun activities and planning great days out during the school holidays
Dental Nurse
As well as working as a nanny i have also been busy working at a dentist where i am an assistant dental nurse. I deem this job experience relevant as i work often with children when they come for check ups or dental procedures.
