My name is Tina, in my spare time, I love to keep active with a range of activities including running, cycling and walking. My Experience
I have extensive experience working with young people having been a teaching assistant for the past 15 years. I work with children of all abilities, mentoring them with their well-being, school difficulties and with general life skills. I am continuing to work as part of the SEN department, supporting young people with a range of needs including autism, anxiety, physical disabilities and school work (particularly Science and Mathematics). Having had two children of my own, I understand the need for flexibility and tailored care in parenting.
My Qualifications
3 GCSEs in Mathematics, English and Psychology. Level 2 and 3 NVQ in Supporting teaching and learning in schools. Level 3 QA award for emergency first aid. Level 2 NCFE in 'understanding autism', 'understanding children and young peoples mental health', 'understanding specific learning difficulties'.
My Availability
During term-time I am available, during the week (evenings) and on Saturdays (evenings), and on Sundays (daytime). I am available for 1:1 homework help and general evening babysitting. Open to both long term and ad hoc jobs. During holidays I am available to help with 1:1 homework and any childcare needs day times, evenings and weekends (Saturdays just evenings and/or Sunday day time).
