About Me
I am 24 years old and have a degree in English Literature. I live in Chalfont St. Peter and am able to drive to surrounding areas to tutor/babysit. I have lots of experience within nursery childcare and tutoring, both of which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I have also been babysitting since I was 18 years old. I am friendly, patient, reliable and fun and am happy to help with additional tasks such as making dinner, helping with homework etc when required.
My Experience
As a tutor for Explore Learning, I gained lots of experiences helping children and teenagers between the ages of 3-14 with additional learning exercises outside of school, including those who were ahead as well as behind at school. This was primarily across English and Maths, although I also ran an extracurricular 'Succeed in Secondary' course within my role too. I worked in a nursery for two and a half years with children between the ages of 6 months-4years. This means I have extensive experience of working with young children and also have excellent understand of health and safety and the EYFS. I also completed Safeguarding Training and Allergy Training as well during my time at the nursery and recently completed updated Safeguarding Training for both children and adults at my current job. I have also been babysitting for years. My duties included making dinner, helping with homework, putting children to bed etc.
