Hi there! I have just moved over from Australia. I am very family oriented and love taking care of all the bubbies In my family. I have a really caring and understanding nature, and I know that each child is totally unique and will require a different approach to suit their needs.
My Experience
I have a lot of personal experience babysitting children of all ages, mainly friends and family’s children. I also used to be a dance teacher for a number of years and have taught toddlers-adults.
I am an experienced disability support worker, specialising in challenging behaviours. I was also a manager and regional coordinator throughout my time at the Autism Spectrum Australia.
My most recent role was as a training facilitator at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. I trained the organisation in positive behaviour support, safe guarding, managing challenging behaviours, person centred active support and more.
In each of these roles, I have always contextualised my approach to suit the needs of my students, clients and staff.
My Qualifications
I have a certificate IV in training and assessment.
Trainer in certificate III and IV in individual support.
Certified instructor in Management of actual or potential aggression (safety interventions)
Certified NLP (Neuro linguistic programming) practitioner.
