My Experience

I have experience working as a language teaching assistant with primary school aged children in Spain. My duties included coming up with original educational activities, delivering language lessons to the whole class, teaching pronunciation, supervising breaks and supervising the children on a school trip.
Additionally, I have experience as a live-in nanny for 5 year old child with SEN from June-October 2022. My role was comprised of helping to get ready for the day (brushing teeth, getting dressed), preparing meals and snacks, school drop off and pick up, coming up with fun trips (e.g. natural history museum, trampoline park), supervising play dates, putting to bed. It’s worth noting that I was also entrusted to look after the child whist the parent had to go on a business trip for 3 days last October. It was a very eye opening experience for me, as it gave me an eye onto motherhood- albeit 3 days! In this job in particular, I had to really keep my patience be firm at times, but I succeeded in always keeping the child in my care safe, happy, active and well nourished.
