About Me
Hi, I'm Iliana. I am an experienced tutor based in Cambridge with a background in English and music. I have recently completed an MA in Modern Literature at the University of York, for which I received a distinction. I have experience of working in a variety of different educational contexts, and have shared my passion for music and English with students of all ages, nationalities, and backgrounds.
My Experience
Before completing my MA, I worked as a Learning Support Assistant at an Ofsted outstanding secondary school in West London. I now tutor English from primary up to GCSE, both online and in-person. I have experience of helping students prepare for SATS, 11 plus exams, and English Literature and Language GCSE.
I am trained in Suzuki violin and piano teaching, and currently work as a violin and piano teacher. I offer violin and piano lessons to beginner and intermediate students.
I also have experience of working with EAL, gifted students, adult learners, and SEND. I have a keen interest in international education, and I have taught and tutored English in India and Moscow.

BA - English and Russian - 1st Class Honours
MA - Modern and Contemporary Literature - Distinction
