Hi, thanks for taking the time to look at my profile! I am a kind and caring Primary School teacher who is passionate about providing children with fun and creative experiences. I am currently looking for babysitting work. My experience working in schools and sound understanding of the curriculum also means I can provide tutoring for pupils up to KS2. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking in the Downs or exploring Brighton and surrounding areas.
My Experience
I have 10+ years experience working with children in a variety of settings including nurseries, holiday clubs, private family homes and schools.
The past couple of summers I have worked as a Team Leader at a Holiday Camp in Brighton where I:
• Designed and provided children with fun Art and Sport activities to entertain them.
• Took responsibility and worked with multiple groups of children aged between 3 and 11 years across the camp over a four week period.
• Provided safe, fun and creative teamwork activities to children ensuring they could all take part and develop their social skills.
I completed my Primary PGCE 5 -11 Degree in 2021 which involved me successfully completing three placements at two Primary Schools where I:
• Created and delivered sequences of lessons.
• Took responsibility as the Class Teacher ensuring all children were engaged and meeting the learning milestones.
• Gained experience in SEN through working 1:1 with children with ADHD, Autism and Social and Emotional needs.
I have worked as a temporary Nanny in a family's private home for a set of twins from the ages of 18 months - 24 months. During this role I:
• Changed nappies
• Took the children to play-groups and outings during the day.
• Prepared and cooked the children healthy meals.
• Followed twins sleep routine.
• Read books and sing nursery rhymes with actions.
• Planned and delivered engaging indoor and outdoor activities.
• Provide daytime childcare whilst parents are working.
I am currently working as a part-time After-Nursery Nanny for two siblings where I:
• Collect the toddlers from nursery.
• Prepare and feed the children healthy snacks.
• Follow the bedtime routine.
• Read books and sing nursery rhymes with actions.
• Provide evening childcare whilst parents are working.

My Availability
I am available 1 day a week (Monday or Friday), some weekday evenings and some weekends.
