Hello! I’m an A-level student looking for tutoring and babysitting opportunities near Westbury, Redland, Clifton, and Bishopston.
I am currently in my last year of school, and I look forward to studying Physics and Philosophy at the University of Bristol later this year. I’m quite chatty and aspire to become a teacher, hoping to gain more childcare experience through tutoring and babysitting!
I offer the following services:
- Babysitting (including chores, cooking, arts and craft)
- Maths and Physics to Year 12s and below
- Classical clarinet to Grades 5 and below (ABRSM or Trinity)
- Classical piano to Grades 3 and below (ABRSM or Trinity)
- Art to anyone who wants practise with painting and drawing!
- Any subject to primary school students
Alongside school, I love reading and writing essays on philosophy. I am in a jazz band too!
My Experience
I am completely new to paid babysitting but I have a big family and am familiar with babysitting and household duties!
As for tutoring, I have experience with tutoring Maths and Physics to students in KS3, KS4, and KS5, as well as students with learning difficulties. Usually, the students or parents would let me know of any learning difficulties in advance, and this has led me to do research on Dyscalculia, ADHD, and Aspergers, applying my knowledge accordingly.
I have been getting paid for tutoring for a few months now, but have had several years of tutoring siblings, cousins, friends, and volunteering at primary schools in Thailand. I also founded and have been running my school’s Art Club, where I have taught illustration to over fifty KS3 students in the past two years. So far, I have led a few projects which study education around Bristol. My findings and experience have come to inform my lesson approach.
With this experience, I have become accustomed to adapting my teaching style to the preferences and personalities of the students.
My Qualifications
- 99999999888 GCSE grades in (respective order) Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Music, Art, Spanish, History, Further Maths, English Language.
- A*A*A*A* Predicted A-Level grades in Physics, Maths, Further Maths, EPQ
- Clarinet Grade 8 level (exam was not done due to COVID)
- Piano Grade 6 Merit
- Art Scholarship
My Availability
Currently, I am mostly free on weekends, whilst weekday hours will have to be discussed further to accommodate my classes. However, my hours will be very flexible during the Easter holidays and after A-level exams.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Most lessons would require preparation (lesson notes, looking through musical scores, etc), especially for older students, which is why I am looking at around £20 per hour. Transport to and from your house may also affect rates, to be discussed further. I am happy to negotiate fees to fit the lesson type and your preferences.
