About Me
I have been a German and French teacher since 2011 and have been working as Head of MFL in various schools since 2017. I live in the Walthamstow area and am offering face to face private tuition in my home to those in the local area for GCSE and A Level German students. Alternatively I can offer online lessons via Microsoft Teams to those unable to travel. I am a new mother and have recently started working part time, therefore I have more time to offer private tuition. I have an up to date DBS and a number of educational qualifications. My Experience
I have been teaching languages in secondary schools since 2011. I am currently Head of the Modern Foreign Language department at my current school in NW London. I have an excellent track record of results in both GCSE and A Level German and my specialisms include raising attainment in departments which are achieving below the national average. I have helped many pupils achieve level 9s in German at GCSE and A* at A Level and can also offer tuition to French pupils who are being entered for Foundation tier. My lessons have been consistently rated outstanding by Ofsted.
I have provided private tuition across the duration of my career in both online and face to face settings.
