Hello! Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. My name is Jane and I live in Wiveliscombe, Somerset. I have two wonderful daughters aged 18 and 36, and I am looking for a part time position in the surrounding areas. I am available weekdays and have my own car. Although I have no formal childcare qualifications I have 36 years of raising my two daughters (one of whom is a nanny herself in NYC). I would describe myself as warm, kind and nurturing. I genuinely adore spending time in the presence of children, and there safety will always be my main priority. I enjoy spending time doing arts and crafts, reading, spending time outside in nature. I try to make everything we do a fun learning experience for myself and the child. I love to cook and would be happy to prepare nutritious food for your child (also happy to cook for the rest of the family)! I currently work weekends at Mercedes Benz in Taunton, but am looking to branch out with some extra hours of child care each week. Happy to jump on a zoom call, or come and meet the family in person. My Experience
I have spent most of my career working as a sales advisor/while raising my two children. Now that they are all grown up I am looking to supplement my current position with a childcare job. I have spent many weeks with my daughter in NYC shadowing her nanny position there. I dont currently have an up to date first aid certificate, but would be more than willing to obtain one.
My Qualifications
Mother of two. Although no formal qualifications I truly believe that the last 36 with my two daughters has given me the tools and experience to be a wonderful care giver. I am also open to taking any courses that may help to enhance my life experience.
My Availability
I currently work weekends so am available during the week, evenings included.
