Absolutely incredible childminder

Caroline has been looking after our two boys for over three years now. We are so, so lucky that she is their childminder, though not as lucky as they are! They enjoy their time with Caroline so much - she does a huge range of activities and trips with them, and scaffolds and encourages their development and their skills constantly. She is always alert to any areas where they may need a bit more encouragement or support, and she incorporates activities to help with these areas into their daily routine. She never allows them to get upset or worried about anything they have an issue with, she just creates fun ways to make sure that they are able to develop at their own speed, in the best way they can.

She has a huge range of activities, toys, books, creative play, etc for them in her home environment, and they are always going out to have fun with other children in other play settings. They love the healthy food she cooks for them, and the setting has everything a child would need or want. Communication between us and Caroline is always great. She plans their days with the boys, and they agree on what they're going to do together. She's always thinking of new things to do, and they are always excited about doing things they haven't done before - or about going back to do something they love that they haven't done for a while.

More than anything else, the boys love Caroline, and she loves them. She is so warm and supportive, which they responded to as soon as they started with her, and which they still respond to now. Every day they spend with Caroline is fun, and they come home with the most brilliant stories about what they've been doing, and what they're looking forward to doing tomorrow. We couldn't imagine any way that Caroline could be better.

Everything we could have dreamt for

We started using Caroline when our child was 11 months old. She instantly took him under her wing with amazing care and has helped oversee his development. You can see the love she treats all her children with, creating a happy home-like environment that all the children enjoy and thrive in. The smiles on the children’s faces at the end of each day are testament to how much fun they have in Caroline’s care. There’s always apprehension and nerves as a parent when leaving your child with a childminder but Caroline immediately put us at ease and we could not have wished for our child to be in the care of a better person. She communicates regularly throughout the day and completes a lovely summary after each sitting. The educational and physical development she has helped with and the overall care, including lovely home cooked meals and fun activities and days out for the children, has been priceless and beyond our expectations. We will be forever grateful and could not recommend Caroline enough. The perfect childminder!

We couldn't ask for a better childminder!

Incredible Caroline! We have been using Caroline's Childminding Service for 2 years and half to look after our daughter and we couldn't think of a better setting. The care ,love and attention that Caroline show our daughter is fantastic- a real home from home environment . Caroline is warm and welcoming, funny and light hearted which is what you need in the morning. We chose Caroline as she has a great house with great toys and beautiful garden. We loved the fact that she can put all the kids in her car and be free to go wherever she wanted, those outdoor trips( Kew Garden's was our daughter's favourite) were what you just don’t get with a nursery. We wanted our girl to feel like she was at home where she had loads of time in the garden, lots of space to be herself but also with some structure and routine. Caroline has a great reputation and is always in demand. She is so professional and takes immense pride in providing an excellent service. We are incredibly grateful for the care and support Caroline provided to our daughter ,she thrives in Caroline's care, and we know our girl is always safe and happy. The daily updates and photos are also a great help.

Phenomenal all round childminder!

Caroline has taken care of my boys (2 and 4 years old) for almost a year now. She is an absolutely phenomenal childminder. From the very start, Caroline took time to introduce us to her setting, and was able to very quickly build rapport with the kids in a thougtful and sensitive way that only a seasoned professional would know how. Her days are planned meticulously, always filled with fun and activities but she weaves EYFS teaching throughout the term, so there is a well thought out structure and the boys have loved learning about festivals and seasons and animals etc!. They have loved exploring the local area too and making friends with the children of other Childminders in Caroline's network. Caroline's energy and passion for children is infectious, I was impressed with how quickly she got to know the boys and tailored her care towards their individual personalities. You really get the best of both worlds at Bumbles - the personalised touch and care of a loving and highly qualified childminder, but the structure and focus on learning and development that you'd get in a nursery. Our boys are always happy to say good bye to us in the morning and equally happy, well-fed and content when we pick them up. Would highly recommend Caroline!

Amazing Caroline!

Caroline looked after both my son and daughter from 1 year until school age. Caroline has an incredibly contagious happy energy and both my kids loved her enthusiasm, fun playful spirit and ability to make all games more “magical”. Reliable, efficient and a dream for both parents and children!
