About Me
I am 18 and have almost finished my CACHE level 3 diploma in Early Years Education. I have spent over 600 hours over the last two years doing student placement in a nursery. I have had a DBS check, and my favourite activities to do are messy play and creative play. I have had experience with first aid and special needs, but I am not certified in either. I particularly enjoy looking after children between the ages of 0-3. I am quite patient with children, and the children I've worked with often think I'm funny. I am empathetic and good at calming children down- my first time working with babies, I managed to get a struggling nine month old to sleep when none of the other practitioners could! I find it very easy to engage with children and help teach them to regulate their own emotions. I am available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, as well as weekends if need be- my course officially finishes on June 16th, however I should be finished within the next few weeks and from then I will be available full time. From my understanding, I won't be officially qualified until I receive my results in late July-early August, but rest assured, I have passed every unit so far with flying colours and I am happy to provide evidence for this. I'm not able to drive, and will be going to university in September.
My Experience
In the last year, I have worked with babies as young as three months old to children as old as five. I much prefer working with children between the ages of 0-3 years of age. I have experience in all kinds of play, and I have been taught how to change nappies, how to feed children, how to make bottles and how to engage the children.
My Qualifications
