About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Leah and I am (almost) 20 years old. I am from Derry in Northern Ireland and am currently living in Liverpool! I’m studying at Liverpool Hope University in my 2nd year studying to be a Primary School Teacher.
My Experience
I am the oldest of 4 siblings, and the oldest grandchild, therefore I have lots of experience with babysitting young children between ages of 1-10. Like I said before, I am also studying to be a Primary School Teacher and I have currently had experience in both Reception and Year 6, but have a broad knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching methods. When I was living in Derry, I also used to volunteer at a Youth Club as an Intermediate Youth Worker. This gave me experience with creating activities for children and taking them on days out.
My Qualifications
As of right now, I am one year away from become a fully qualified teacher. I also have 8 GCSEs, including Maths, English and Science, and I have 3 A-Levels, including Maths. On top of this, I have also had safeguarding training from my university, and have a full Enhanced DBS Check. I have also got an OLA Entry Level 3 Qualification in Spanish and love to learn Spanish as a hobby!
My Availability
I do currently work Part-Time, but I am willing to help out on my days off. I currently work 3/4 days a week, so the rest of the days I could be used a babysitter or a tutor. I wont know my full availability until a few weeks time when summer fully starts.
