About Me
Hi there, Ive been working with children for the past 18 months, but have always looked after kids informally. I love children and also know how challenging it can be for parents to find childcare so that they can work, so It’s my pleasure to look after children for a few hours after school, or during the day.
Im very careful and vigilant when it comes to health and safety, both physical and emotional, especially when it comes to children.
My Experience
I’ve worked in a few nurseries on placements when I was studying Health and Social Care in college, but more recently I've been working as a Teaching assistant in various schools in london, mostly with kids who have special needs. All different ages and backgrounds and with very varied needs so I’ve gained a wealth of experience adapting the care I give to the needs of each child I’m responsible for. That includes different health or dietary requirements, behaviour issues, learning difficulties and disabilities, verbal or nonverbal communication, etc.
