Hello!
My name is Cory Mclellan, and I am 18 years old. I currently study Fine art, Textiles and Photography at college, and am heading to University in 2024 to study Fine Art. I am creative, logical, calm, caring, and I love to work with young people.
My Experience
I have been busy with college work until recently, so am currently looking for babysitting jobs over the summer holidays to gain experience.
This year I Volunteered with a registered charity named Over the Wall, who provide residential camps for children/ young people with disabilities or difficulties and siblings of young people with disabilities.
I unfortunately had to leave the volunteering slightly early due to sickness, but the time I did spend there was rewarding, wholesome, and amazing to be a part of.
I plan to volunteer with the same company again in the future.
My Qualifications
I have no childcare qualifications, however I plan to take a Level 3 teaching course after finishing my fine art Degree, which I am due to start next year.
I volunteered with young people recently and plan to volunteer with the same company in the future. Because of the nature of work I have had an Enhanced DBS check, and am on the DBS update service. I am happy to provide photos of my DBS certificate.
I have full GCSE 1-9 qualifications, including:
Fine art: Grade 8
English Language: Grade 8
English Literature: Grade 7
Media studies: Grade 6
Maths: Grade 4
Combined Science (1/2): Grade 4
Combined Science (2/2): Grade 4
In College, I am currently studying UAL level 3 extended diploma in creative practice. Whilst I haven’t received my results for year one as of yet, I have a predicted distinction grade for the project.
My Availability
I am available almost every day until college begins again in September. If you send a message we can work out a date and time that works for both of us.
