About Me
I am an experienced primary school teacher, who has decided to start my own childminding business, since having my little one. I love working with children and am excited to create a home-from-home experience for those who attend my setting. I have been hard at work decorating and resourcing my playroom, which is where lots of our learning and play will take place. I hope to be up and running by September/October. My Experience
I have been a primary school teacher for 10 years and have taught all year groups 1-6 in that time. However Early Years training (and also becoming a mum) has given me additional experience, ready to work with younger children and babies.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in primary education (within which I chose to further my knowledge in children’s literature and SEND); a childminding introductory training course (Ofsted recognised) which covers all of the Early Years requirements; a number of modules related to child development; a paediatric first aid course and safeguarding children
My Availability
My hours are 7:30 - 5:30, Monday - Wednesday.
