About Me
Hello, my name is Megan and I am 27 years old. I am currently studying Primary Education BA HONS, whilst working within KS1 at a local primary school. I have worked in a disabled children’s home with ages 12-18. I have experience with autism, ADHD and cerebral palsy and other disabilities/needs. My ambition is to teach Reception/KS1 when I have completed my degree.
My Experience
I have experience working with children age 5-11 on a daily basis in a primary school setting. I am familiar with reception and KS1, however work in after school and breakfast clubs that have age ranges 5-11. I work 1:1 with a child with global development delay, and 1:1 with a child with cerebral palsy. My previous job role was in a disabled children’s home, where I was a key worker for a child with epilepsy and supported a range of other children with autism, cerebral palsy and ADHD.
I have experience babysitting children 3-11 for both friends and family.
My Qualifications
I have 10 GCSES including maths, English and science. I have 3 ALEVELS in addition to carrying out Primary Education BA Hons degree.
My Availability
I am available 4pm onwards Monday, Tuesday, Friday. This can be flexible for ongoing or ‘contracted’ work.
